…thank you for showing me the way

It’s been nothing short of an amazing few weeks for Mr. All Hustle, No Luck. Participating in the CWF Golden Intentions Rumble, a successful victory on the home turf in Carnage Wrestling to be crowned new Tag Team Champions with his partner Harry Hampton. Top of the world could not even begin to explain the feelings that are happening. The funny thing is there is way more left to come as well.

Sticking around in CWF more was Isaiah’s way of getting more exposure, a chance to show off his skills elsewhere. Plus, why not? Given that he had given a full entire year to Carnage and learned a lot of valuable lessons, it was okay to branch out. Make some more new memories.

What better way than to be involved in a Double Jeopardy match for Evolution 55 in CWF. Luck had a thing or two of knowledge about multi-man matches. Half of the eighteen matches he competed in were exactly those. Battle royals, traditional, six, and eight man tags. Elimination Chamber and the Starmaker Ladder Match. He wasn’t afraid to be put into the fire in this kind of circumstance in fact he was right at home.

Speaking of home.

Roll out the red carpet for the man who went to war and came back a name people could be proud of in Charlotte, North Carolina. Cruising through the streets in a black stretch limo with everyone standing around waving flags, whistling, shouting, and holding signs. It was a very emotional moment and one that Isaiah could never get used to. When you come from nothing and continue to stay humble these things don’t matter to you. Yes, everyone wants to be known for something and wants to be a household name, but does it really matter in the end if you don’t remember how it all started for you?

Getting out of the limo was one of the hardest things Luck could have ever done. To be greeted by so many smiling faces from friends and family. Overwhelming. One could only truly be in their own head.

Is this what it really is about? I mean look at all of these people, are they really here for me? I must actually mean something to the world. I’ve busted my ass the last year to try and make a point to all those that doubted me. To fight for all of those who were told they could never amount to anything.

Look at all of these faces staring at me. Especially the younger ones, and the few that are crying. The thanks were emotional. This is real shit. This is it, the big time. This Tag Team Championship is only the beginning. I still have so much to prove to everyone, to myself. It’s why I chose to expand stick around in CWF for a while. The rumble was just a bit of a start. I’ve got to achieve more than this and be more than this.

All of this could mean much more if I really apply to myself to kick out more than I do now in the constant fight to be the best. UGH why am I always in my head? I don’t deserve this… shut up… yes I do. Harry and I did the impossible. We took down Paragon, when others said we couldn’t. We took some of their prized possessions. I need more now.

CWF this is it. I can have more. I just need to get through this tag team match. Should be my specialty right? It’s Double Jeopardy. I win tonight, I win against my partners, I’m set with another title match. I can do this. I WILL do this. It’s hustle time baby.

You know what it would mean to be a champion in two different federations? I mean of course I don’t know but I could only imagine what it is like to be able to hold such an accomplishment. Okay new plan of action. Keep these Tag Team Championships, cash in some points for another championship. Win the Impact Championship in CWF and continue on to world wrestling domination. Sounds like a plan.

Gosh would that really work? Wait, remember Luck you are here in the presence of many who are here to hear from you. Snap out of it dude. Focus.

Jumping out of his occupied head space that he was in, Luck had come to in the reality that was right in front of him. He had to address everyone around him. He had to give the people what they wanted and that was a happy face and to celebrate a joyous occasion. No matter the insecurities he faced, he had to push that aside. No matter how much pain he secretly dealt with to hide, he had a reason to keep pushing and that showed when people were rooting for you.

A little girl came from out of the crowd and made a dash toward Luck giving him a giant squeeze that only little kids could give. Something about it was so innocent. He looked down at the little girl giving her a gentle smile. He took his tag team championship and placed it on her shoulder as he went down to one knee behind her as they posed and smiled for a picture.

Giving him a quick kiss on the cheek and a hug, that is when it set in.

“Please don’t ever change Mr. Luck.”

I’ve got to stop all of this feeling bad for how others have done me and start living for myself and do what I have to do. These people, the living, are who I have in my corner now. No selfishness. Having that ultraviolent match helped me release a lot of that aggression I had from someone I looked at like a brother. He took his life, he shit on me for no reason and died leaving me with a false impression of myself. Made me question who I was as a person. Was I truly a horrifying, lying, selfish monster?

No. No I am not, nor will I ever be. This little girl here as I look into her little sky blue eyes with a heart that is so pure is assuring me that I am an idol. I am going to be a living legend. She believes in me and I can not let that little person down. She has something to look at when she turns that television on every week and sees me as one of her favorites living out a dream.

I will no longer be a victim or prisoner of my own mind and downfall. It’s time that I fight and see the world through a brighter hue. Carnage Wrestling, I got it on lock. Now I have to turn my sights to CWF. I have to… no I need to make my mark in CWF. That all starts soon and all of these people need to know just how important they are to me and how they help me thrive in this business. Year one for me was great and now I am aiming to make year two even better.

“What’s up everyone? How’s my lovely people of Charlotte doing?”

He had to ask, you know it was the formal thing to do. Of course they all cheered and had a lot of random things to shout out to him. The pedestal that Luck was placed on, was what he wanted all along.

“Let me start by saying thank you to all of you for being here to welcome me home and for coming to support me at Carnage’s Underground: Destiny. I’m sure you all notice this beautiful thing on my shoulder here. I call her Daisy. She is going to be with me for a long time along with the other half, but we don’t need to acknowledge that. I am a champion ya’ll!”

More cheers and whistles fill the air as Isaiah just stands there with a cheesing grin on his face. A smile ear to ear so wide. He removed the tag team championship from his shoulder and raised it in the air.

“This is only the beginning. I promise you all the second half of 2019 will be a year filled with gold. If you all are free I welcome you to come watch me in CWF for Evolution 55. It’s the first step into getting more gold. So long as I win this tag team match with my partners and then go on to beat them in a triple threat.

With everything that is going on right now, I’ve got even more to handle now. New faces, new opportunities. The thing is though I will not let any one of you down at all. We are in this together and I will be fighting for us all to win. You can count on me.”

You know I am really hoping those words don’t come back to bite me in the ass. I’ve come a long way since my days of first stepping foot into the ring at Carnage back last year in April. I got the chance to face the best of the best. I’ve had great matches and some not so stellar. The one thing no one can ever say is that Isaiah Luck is a slouch. I go out there and put on every match with all of my heart.

Nothing is going to be any different here in CWF. Trust me, you thought the Golden Intentions Rumble was a spectacular show for me, the future holds many different things. I’m a rare breed in the ring. A jewel that only comes around once in a lifetime. My opponents have a chance to see that at Evolution.

This double jeopardy is a great concept. It’s so simple honestly, because all you have to do is just win. My team wins, then we face off and get the chance to challenge for the Impact Title. Another championship I would not mind adding to my collection.

Great to see a familiar face on my team in Bryan Ford though. A Carnage running mate. Even though we haven’t had any time together in the ring I have seen what he brings to the table. I’m sure he knows what I am capable of as well. I have no doubt in the abilities in my team because we are all thirsty for that win. We all want to get to the water canteen on the other side of the mirage filled desert. Hungry is even a better term.

Who wouldn’t want to fight hard and then go after the gold. Gold that could put you one step closer to the top of the mountain. I’m sure even Kyuseishu thinks the same. Why wouldn’t he want the opportunity to fight for something glorious at the end of the day? We only have to align for one night.

Only enough time to take out PJ Blake, Brandon Youngblood, and Tom Marrow.

Simple.

As a well oiled machine we can take them down without a care in the world. Friends or not, I don’t think they are hungry enough for it. I’ve got a great track record and a lot of talent to back up any and everything I say. Don’t believe check my stats. Watch a couple of Carnage replays.

Trust me though I know, this isn’t Carnage a whole nother ball game. But I welcome the change, I welcome the challenge and all the crap that comes with it. But one thing I need you three to understand is to not write me off like I am so newbie or lost puppy who can’t find his way. All it takes is three seconds to underestimate me and you’ve lost.

I can come into CWF full time if I wanted to and flip the whole damn company up over on its head. Takeover and have everyone talking the same as I have done in Carnage. Climb the top of the ranks without even having to win a single championship. I’m just that damn good of a talent guys. I also happen to have a little special dab in tag team action.

I’m coming here to CWF to show my worth elsewhere to fight for the chances no one else can get and you best believe I am going to make the best of it. After my team beats you, I’ll go on to next week to earn my spot in fighting for the Impact Title. I’ve got my game face on and the willingness to do whatever it is I have to, to win.

You are facing a man that knows no bounds. All Hustle. You all don’t know this about me but Luck is just a last name and has nothing to do with my success. Check my resume and read and learn all about me. This isn’t hopeful or wishful thinking. This is me speaking straight facts and let me be the one to tell you all that I am going to be the one to get that Impact Title shot. I wish the best of luck to all, but this is all for me. This is my fight and my time.
