“Godly” Ken Davison stands inside his church, this time empty, save for himself. Light creeps in from the stained glass windows, but not much. One would guess it was early evening. Davison stands in plain clothes, a pair of black jeans and a Amber Ryan T-Shirt.

“This week on Carnage wrestling the season premiere of “Everybody Hates Ken.” I know that JC put in the stipulation that we couldn’t turn on our partner during the match because of me. Let’s not pretend it is anything other than what it really is. Kyra Johnson hates me. Trent Steel isn’t especially fond of me. And we all know Amber Ryan wants me destroyed so badly that she put a bounty out on my head. That’s why my congregation is currently not in attendance. And, let me tell you, that is one of the greatest compliments I have ever received in all my years.”

While Davison is talking, a white projector screen lowers behind him.

“Each and every person in this match knows Kendamned well that I am the attraction in this match. Everyone knows I am the draw. The reason is because I am the single most proactive wrestler in this company. I do not sit back and rest on my laurels and wait for opportunities to come to me. No, no, no, my friend, that is not who I am and quite frankly, it is not acceptable. I create opportunities for myself. Hell, I create opportunities for other people.”

A rather flattering picture of Kyra appears on the screen.

“In this match alone, people are going to watch because they want to see how I’m going to screw over Kyra Johnson. I’m actually not going to do that, even though I could. JC said that we could not attack our partners in this match. What would stop me from giving the word to Danny Kemp and having him come back for the sole and singular purpose of going after Kyra?”

“The answer is simple. Nothing would stop that. That’s the loophole that I mentioned on my Twitter. If my true plan were to exploit that loophole, I most certainly would not be making mention of it now, knowing full well that JC could make some kind of ruling against that between now and the match. The point remains every one from the office to the audience wants to know what will I do next.”

The next picture is of Trent Steel. Quite frankly, he looks like shit. In the photo his is worn out, sucking wind and had blood dripping down his forehead. The picture is after the match where he was defeated by “Godly” Ken Davison.

“Moreover, I make Trent Steel watchable. Like I said before, Trent is nothing but your basic run-of-the-mill generic badass. I stand by what I said before our last match. He is just Treading Water. He didn’t seek out the opportunity challenge for the world championship. He lucked out. And that is why Amber Ryan is going to retain her championship when those two meet. The only reason Trent Steel is a headliner once again is because of the fact that I made him a headliner. Remember those words. I… Made… Him.”

The picture switches to another rather unflattering picture. This time, it is of Amber Ryan. She is kneeling, exhausted in the middle of the ring, holding the Carnage Wrestling Heavyweight Championship.

“And then we have our beloved world champion, Amber Ryan. During our first little soiree I pointed out something that Amber has used on her social media and I pointed out to her but nobody really loves her. However, she proved in the build-up to that match where she beat her dear old daddy that the opposite was true. It’s not true that nobody really loves her. What is true is that she doesn’t truly love anybody else. She had no issue with beating the man she calls her father. She had no issue using KJ to get to her father. With what she’s done to two of the people that loved her the most, I really worry about my friend Mac Bane getting used and abused and discarded by this evil succubus.”

Davison snaps his fingers and the screen begins rising back towards the ceiling.

“When you think about the fact that I am the common thread between everyone and everything in this match, you really need to recognize the importance of The GKD, “Godly” Ken Davison. The fact that I am  elevating every single person that surrounds me, be it friend or foe, cannot be refuted. At this juncture, they should just hand me the Carnage Wrestling Wrestler of the Year for 2020 because there is no one that can claim to have done the things that I have done. What I do it’s make every single person around me better. I am the mortar that holds all the bricks atop Carnage wrestling together. I am the foundation upon which every pillar of Carnage wrestling is dependent on. When it comes to Carnage wrestling, I am the Alpha and the Omega. And so long as I am in that position, it is only a matter of time before each and every one of your heroes will fall at my feet.”

Davison smiles, knowing that his words, while mildly exaggerated, ring true.

“What Kyra Johnson and I are going to do it’s come into this match as one unit. I won’t sit here and pretend that we’re on the same page, but for one night at least, we will be in the same book and on the same chapter. I don’t think the same can be said for Trent and Amber. I don’t know much about what’s going through pyra’s head, but the one thing I do know is that she had something to prove and she is going to want me at her best. For all the differences in our philosophies, that is the one we agree on. When I challenged her, I want her at her best as well.”

Davison pauses for just a moment, giving a serious glare into the camera.

“So, at Chaos, what we are going to do is prove that while we may not be the last match of the night at the Pay-Per-View, we most certainly are the main event. So says the gospel of “Godly” Ken Davison.”

Davison lowers his head and folds his hands in prayer as the picture fades to black.
